'Chinese good people' in Du'an

The Du’an Yao autonomous county recently saw the emergence of new “Chinese good people”.

In a recent appraisal, Su Huimin, a teacher in the Du’an Yao autonomous county, was named “March Good Samaritan” and President Mo Zhengao became a candidate for the title in April.

The inspiring deeds of Su and Mo have spread around the whole country. Su Huimin was badly injured after she pushed three students out of the way of a motorbike; Mo Zhengao, who died of illness, subsidized nearly 300 students to realize their college dreams. The two contributed all their enthusiasm and strength to education in Du’an in their ordinary posts.

The selection of “Chinese good people” is sponsored by Chinese Civilization Net (www.wenming.cn). It names about 100 people each month. The honor is provided for five kinds of good people, for those who are forward to help others, who act bravely for a just cause, who are honest and trustworthy, who are dedicated to work and who show filial piety to parents.

In the list of March, four people are from Guangxi and Su Huimin is the only chosen person from Hechi.
