Dahua students perform well in an international composition contest

The Dahua Yao autonomous county’s No 2 Primary School in Hechi, Guangxi, recently achieved excellent results in the 15th Chinese Youth Composition Contest.

The contest was co-sponsored by the Cultural Department of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, the Next Generation Working Committee of the Ministry of Education, the National Foreign Language Instructional Leading Group, Beijing Municipal Commission of Education and Beijing Chinese Children Educational and Cultural Exchange Association.

Nine students from the Dahua Yao autonomous county’s No 2 Primary School won the first, second and third prizes in the contest. In addition, two teachers of the school won the “15th Chinese Youth Composition Contest Guidance Prize”.

Chinese language schools from 32 countries participated in the contest, submitting 207,000 contributions in total.
