Hechi's two villages and three units win title of national civilizations

Good news recently spread from the National Spiritual Civilization Commendation Conference that two villages in Hechi have won the title of "National Civilized Village" and three government units in the area were chosen as "National Civilized Units".

The two villages to win the award were Hezhai village in Yizhou city and Baping village in Nandan county. The three chosen units to win the "National Civilized Units" were the Hechi municipal audit bureau, Hechi highway administration bureau and Tian'e county's national taxation bureau.

The selection and commendation of the national civilized villages, towns and units is held every three years. It is the highest comprehensive collective honor for villages, towns and units who are harmonious in the development of civil behavior in both a material, political, spiritual and ecological sense.

In recent years, Hechi has been vigorous in its efforts to practice core socialist values and organize activities that foster spiritual civility among the masses. So far, five villages and towns in Hechi have been awarded the National Civilized Village award, eight units have been awarded the National Civilized Unit award and four have been upgraded to national spiritual civilization advanced units.
