Nandan to hold first Baping Rape Flower Festival

The first Baping Rape Flower Festival will be held on March 8 in Nandan county’s Mangchang town in Hechi, Guangxi.

The main venue of the festival will be held in Manba village. During the festival, a series of activities will be held including flower lamp performances, photography exhibitions, an agricultural products and local specialty sales exhibition, mountain bike cycling. A gala party will also be held to celebrate the International Working Women’s Day.

Meanwhile, decorations made of straw such as scarecrows will be arranged to embellish the sea of rape flowers. The festival is expected to attract a large number of people and help promote the development of the rapeseed oil production economy and local ecological tourism.
