Sugar oranges from the Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county, Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, ripened recently and were quickly prepared for shipment all over China. The fruits have gained great popularity of late in the country.

In recent years, Huanjiang has vigorously adjusted its plantation structure to develop the sugar orange industry. Thanks to the fertile soil and abundant sunshine, the sugar orange in Huanjiang is endowed with a vivid color and good taste.

Thanks to financial and technological support from the county government, local fruit farmers have been able to insist on using only green agricultural products, pollution-free cultivation techniques and organic fertilizers.

Huanjiang’s latest batch of sugar oranges entered the market with price of 11-13 yuan per kilogram. The oranges have attracted many fruit merchants from provinces such as Sichuan, Guangdong and Guizhou.
