Luocheng satisfies local residents with ‘dream’ accommodation

The Luocheng Mulam autonomous county ushered in its 30th anniversary in 2014. To mark the special year, the local government started work on 768 indemnificatory houses in the cities and towns across the county and completed the construction of 1,024 additional houses. The construction work was carried out under the direction of local government to promote the housing project and help ease the housing problem in the area.

Luocheng also transferred residents from a total of 3000 rural dilapidated housing through its housing rehabilitation program and gave out assistance payments amounting to 57.6 million yuan ($9.28 million), laying a solid foundation in achieving local residents' housing expectations.
