Revenue of Hechi’s local tax bureau breaks through 2.5b yuan

By Dec 26, 2014, the revenue of Hechi’s local tax bureau had reached 2.5 billion yuan ($402 million), with a year-on-year growth of 14.26 percent. It completed its expected annual plan of 2.48 billion-yuan by 100.6 percent and first broke through 2.5 billion yuan, creating a record high.

Since the beginning of 2014, Hechi’s local tax bureau has coped with many difficulties such as the continuous low local economic index, the sharp decrease of local tax revenue caused by tax reforms and so on. It formed a mechanism to strengthen the control and management for tax collection, made full use of its advantages, strived to explore the potential of local tax collection, firmly held the initiative of the organization income and gave prominence to the "five full efforts" of organization income.

First of all, the local tax bureau improved the analysis and forecast and firmly held the initiative of organizing income. Second, it cleaned up tax dodgers, key tax resources, tax types, tax arrears, all kinds of taxpayers and the tax of individual businesses. Third, it fully optimized services for taxpayers, improved the collaborative tax collection of the State Tax Bureau and local tax bureau, and promoted the “Online Tax Bureau” system and the grid management of key tax sources. Last, Hechi’s local tax bureau also fully improved the comprehensive tax collection and improved the development of tax sources to provide financial guarantees for local economic development.
