Luocheng extracts new saccharose

On Dec 8, the Luocheng Sugar Refinery of the Guangxi Feng Sugar Group started to produce new saccharose.

According to Luocheng’s sugar bureau, the planting area of Luocheng county’s sugarcane this year is about 190,000 mu (12,666.67 hectares) and raw sugarcane is expected to reach 650,000 tons.

During the sugar extraction season between 2013 and 2014, sugarcane growers in Luocheng achieved a total income of 400 million yuan ($64.58 million) by selling raw sugarcane.
