Hechi holds Rare Stone Cultural Tourism Festival

The third Guangxi Dahua Rare Stone Cultural Tourism Festival was held in Dahua county, Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on Dec 5 and 6.

The Cultural Tourism Festival was sponsored by Dahua county Party committee and Dahua county government. Representatives from the China Ornamental Stone Association, Guangxi Ornamental Association, Hechi Ornamental Association and villages (cities) awarded the title of “hometown of ornamental stone” were invited to attend.

The Festival aimed to promote the communication and cooperation among villages and cities of ornamental stone hometowns, facilitate resource conservation and the utilization of ornamental stones, while advancing the cultural influence of ornamental stones and boosting the development of the local tourism industry.

During the Festival, Dahua county held a series of activities to further elevate its brand image and promote the city’s opening up, such as a rare stone exhibition, a rare stone trade fair, a rare stone auction and the Dahua Tourist Landscape and Custom Photographic Exhibition.
