The 2014 National Ethnic Animation Creation Content Collection Activity was held in Hechi city, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, from Nov 19 to 20. Nearly one hundred cartoon directors, producers and sales managers gathered in Hechi to discuss the future development of Chinese ethnic cartoons.

The activity was sponsored by the Cartoon Art Committee of Chinese Television Artists Association, the Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Hechi municipal government and Gangxi Television Station.
