Industrial development of Tian’e in first three quarters of 2014
Tian’e county in Hechi, Guangxi, has achieved steady progress in its industrial economy by striving to intensify its governmental service capability, guide enterprises to reinforce energy conservation, emission reductions and technical transformations, while also attracting foreign businesses and investment. Its total industrial output value and added value from industrial enterprises above a designated size realized a substantial increase in the first three quarters of 2014.
While accelerating the improvement of the infrastructure construction of industrial parks, Tian’e has brought in high-tech enterprises. With its superiority in resources, it has sped up the development of its resource-oriented industries, which attach most importance to hydroelectricity. Tian’e county also strived to increase the additional value and core competitiveness of products and the deep processing of distinctive agricultural products to promote the development of an industrial economy.
In the first three quarters of this year, Tian’e county has completed 10 industrial technical transformation projects, with an investment of 70.2 million yuan ($11.46). The total output value of industrial enterprises above a designated size reached 2.71 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 61.2 percent, 52.7 percentage points higher than the average level of the whole city of Hechi. The added value of industrial enterprises above a designated size has been 1.65 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 60 percent.
