Guangxi Yizhou holds a dragon boat invitational tournament

As an important activity during the Guangxi Yizhou fifth Liu Sanjie Cultural Tourism Festival, Huaiyuan town in Yizhou, Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, held a Nationwide Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament on Nov 1.

The dragon boat event was a 600-meter straightway racing competition. A total of 34 teams, from places such as Yizhou, Rongshui, Huanjiang, Baise, Nanning and Guangdong, participated in the competition, with 16 in each team. The final round comprised the six teams that had gained the top scores in the preliminary match.

The competition not only provides a mutual exchange platform for dragon boat fans, but also enriches people’s lives, while developing Yizhou’s tourism as well as its commerce and trade.
