The National Tourism Administration and China Development Bank published their 2014 National Top Tourism Project List recently. Five tourism projects in Guangxi were on the list, including Hechi’s projects of Bama Longevity Village’s Green Health Garden and Bama Cifu Lake International Longevity Resort Town.

Bama Longevity Village’s Green Health Garden Tourism Service Project has been invested in by Guangxi Bama Longevity Village Geological Garden Development Corporation to the tune of one billion yuan ($163 million) and an area of 269.16 mu (17.9 hectares). It also plans to develop a wellness hotel, a high-end health experience area, an aged health center and a leisure cultural park. Bama Cifu Lake International Longevity Resort Town has been invested in by Guangxi Tourism Development Group, with a total investment reaching five billion yuan ($817 million).

It is known that China Development Bank has brought these projects into the database of different branches and plans to afford considerable financial support. The National Tourism Administration will also provide loans with discounted interest to these projects.

“Bama is endowed with abundant tourism resources. Our tourism industry is thriving at the moment.” said Li Yi, deputy director general of the tourist administration in the Bama Yao autonomous county. In the future, Bama county will continue to promote its local tourism industry.
