Yizhou’s fifth Liu Sanjie Cultural Tourism Festival starts

On Oct 18, Yizhou – hometown of Liu Sanjie – ushered in the opening ceremony of the fifth Liu Sanjie Cultural Tourism Festival. It will last until Nov 18.

The artistic performance was made up of three sections, including the music, scenery and customs, which impressed the audiences with Yizhou’s ballads, Lanxiang’s story, a bronze drum performance and Nuo Opera.

Yizhou is the hometown of the famous Zhuang singer, Liu Sanjie, and also an outstanding tourism city. After several years of effort, Guangxi Yizhou Liu Sanjie Cultural Tourism Festival has become an important platform to boost the development of Yizhou’s cultural tourism industry and a well-known festival activity in Guangxi and the whole nation.

Huang Pingquan, secretary of Yizhou municipal party committee, said that Yizhou has formed a new tourism development pattern integrating art history, natural scenery, folk customs, silk culture, leisure & wellness and religious culture. He also invited guests from all over China to invest in, and travel to, Yizhou.
