Hechi’s Geyasi Valley opens

While the whole nation was celebrating National Day on Oct 1, the first-stage project of Geyasi Valley China Baikuyao Garden held its opening ceremony at Lihu Yao village, Nandan county, Hechi, Guangxi. Ten thousand tourists from across the country witnessed the memorable moment.

The Baikuyao nationality is regarded by UNESCO as a nationality with the most complete national culture reserved under the title of “the living fossil of human civilization”.

The center of the Geyasi Valley is Ganhe Yao village. The whole scenic spot comprises Yao villages and karst regions. Tourists can watch performances, undertake rafting, experience farming, enjoy fishing and witness the process of making Baikuyao costumes.
