Hechi’s contracted projects at expo hit a record high

Hechi signed 37 projects with a total investment value of 33.4 billion yuan ($5.4 billion) at Hechi Signing Ceremony at the eleventh China-ASEAN Expo on Sept 17.

Huang Shiyong, secretary of Hechi Municipal Committee; He Xinxing, mayor of Hechi and many other governmental officials attended the signing ceremony. The deputy mayor of Hechi, Wei Zulin, hosted the ceremony.

He Xinxing addressed the ceremony and welcomed all the guests. He mentioned that Hechi is located at the junction of Guizhou and Guangxi provinces. Hechi is also on the route to ASEAN countries and the Pearl River Delta region. With the great advantage of its geographical location and resources, the development of Hechi is proceeding apace. He also said that the eleventh China-ASEAN Expo is an excellent opportunity for Hechi to boost its economic development and promote cooperation with other regions. In a special ceremony, 30 projects have been signed with a total investment value of 19.7 billion yuan, including 560 million yuan of foreign investment. The largest investment is 4 billion yuan for the tourism project of Bama Cifu Lake Resort.

At the signing ceremony of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Hechi signed seven projects with a total investment of 13.7 billion yuan, including 10.7 billion yuan of foreign investment.

Hechi signed 37 projects at the expo. The investment for 36 projects has exceeded 100 million yuan and 11 has exceeded one billion yuan. The contracted projects involved infrastructure projects, agricultural projects, new energy projects and so on. Investors came from Germany, Cambodia, Hong Kong and many other areas. These projects will promote the development of Hechi and boost the local economy.
