Nandan gains the first green vegetable product certification

Nandan county in Hechi, Guangxi, has striven to develop its “Fruit Basket” Standardized Vegetable Production Base in Chengguan town, Zhongping village since last year. It has also improved the supervision of vegetable production, helped farmers set up the Nandan Wangmin Vegetable Planting Cooperative and applied for the certification of green vegetable product and producing area.

In 2013, the vegetable producing base acquired Guangxi green vegetable production area certification. This year, it received green vegetable product certification from the Ministry of Agriculture for the first time depending on 640.6 tons of tomato and 1723.7 tons potato.
