Hechi • Yulin Competitive Industries Matchmaking Conference held

The city of Hechi hosted a Hechi • Yulin Competitive Industries Matchmaking Conference, the afternoon of Aug 23, which brought in more than 100 business leaders and officials to discuss common development, including Luo Rixin, a member of the Hechi Party Committee and Hechi United Front Work Dept. Giving an introductory speech was Wei Zulin, Hechi’s vice-mayor, who noted that the business people of Yulin and Hechi have established closer ties as exchanges between the two have gotten stronger in recent years, and that more than 50,000 Yulin workers and merchants have come to invest and do business in Hechi, bringing in more than 10 billion yuan in real estate, architecture, and catering, and creating more than 60,000 jobs.

Luo went on to describe how Hechi and Yulin have similar cultures and mutually beneficial commerce, with a long history and solid foundation for cooperation. Hechi, he said, is the “Home of hydroelectric, non-ferrous metals, longevity, the bronze drum”, and Liu Sanjie” and has won many honors. It is a land of plenty with boundless business opportunities and is a land of treasure for investors and entrepreneurs. He said he hoped the two cities could use the opportunity of the conference to promote exchanges and closer communications, and do more direct matchmaking for the common development. Hechi will go all out, he said, in its effort to provide more convenient and preferential policies to support merchants, investment, and business.

The business people from Yulin who took part in the matchmaking conference were all of the opinion that Hechi is a golden land for investors and entrepreneurs, thanks to its resources and products and that they will publicize it more inside and outside the city, in hope of attracting more merchants. The same day, the participants were able to visit the Dongjiang Industrial Park for an onsite look at the Guangxi Huying Cement Co and Guangxi Hongchi New Energy Vehicles Co, and other operations.
