Guangxi Yulin gets its own Chamber of Commerce in Hechi

There was an inaugural ceremony for the new Chamber of Commerce of Yulin in Hechi city, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, the morning of Aug 24, with Luo Rixin, a member of Hechi Party Committee and the Party United Front Work Dept, present to address the gathering. Also taking part were Li Zhenpin, the vice-mayor of Yulin, and Wei Zulin, Hechi’s vice-mayor.

Reports are that the chamber has at least 200 business members from Yulin, and 300 corporate members, covering everything, from real estate, to architecture, to catering, to mining.

In his speech, Luo congratulated the chamber of commerce on its founding, on behalf of the Hechi Party Committee and municipal government, and expressed his gratitude to entrepreneurs from other parts of China for their contributions to Hechi’s economic and social development. He went on to point to the well-established friendship between Hechi and Yulin and their considerable economic and social exchanges, especially in recent years, and how many business people from Yulin have invested in Hechi and have contributed greatly to its development.

Luo added that he hopes the chamber of commerce can act as a bridge for communications and exchanges between the two cities, and bring more from investment and business from Yulin and that it can develop into an ambassador for enterprise development, and help the government provide better enterprise services to contribute to the rapid economic and social prosperity.

Li, the vice-mayor, explained that Yulin, as one of Guangxi’s strongest economies, has well-developed trade and business, and adventurous people who are known across the region for their courage and always being first. The chamber of commerce, he said, is the result of economic development and exchanges that will attract more Yulin businessmen to invest and get more Hechi enterprises to visit Yulin to study it for cooperation and social development.
