Guiyang holds BIM exchange conference

The 7th Guizhou Province Building Information Modeling (BIM) Development and Exchange Conference was held on Dec 7 at Guiyang Vocational and Technical College, with nearly 200 representatives from associations, enterprises, and universities exploring innovative application paths for digital technology in the construction industry.

The event focuses on the characteristics of Guizhou's mountainous areas and the demand for green development, establishing a platform for technical exchange and cooperation, promoting the integration of green and low-carbon technologies with engineering practices.

During the event, experts, scholars, and business representatives shared opinions on multiple topics, including technological research and development, standard construction, and practical value, discussing ways to use digital technology to improve the accuracy of geological surveys, strengthen cross-departmental collaboration, and implement green construction.
