The Guizhou Science City Science and Technology Innovation Achievements Sharing Event was held in Guiyang on Nov 17, during which multiple universities and alliances within and outside the province announced their cutting-edge achievements and technological needs.
In 2021, Tianjin University signed a counterpart support agreement with Guiyang University. Both parties collaborated in talent cultivation, discipline construction, scientific research innovation, and other aspects, demonstrating the innovative synergy of "school local cooperation + cross-provincial linkage". In 2024, they received approval of the "Key Laboratory for Digital Protection and Development of Cultural Heritage in Guizhou Province".
Professor Chen Hongya from Guiyang University introduced the numerous achievements made by the research platforms developed by Tianjin University and Guiyang University, as well as the latest achievements made by both sides in cultural heritage digitization.

He gave a detailed explanation of the cultural heritage digitization project developed by the two schools. This technology holds five invention patents and can be applied to various scenarios, including smart museums, scientific research and education, and smart cultural tourism. It has been applied in museums in Hunan and Shanxi provinces.
Guizhou Science City is building an efficient link for regional scientific and technological innovation resource exchange and industrial synergy upgrading, boosting innovation and helping Guizhou to accelerate high-quality development in the digital economy and characteristic industries.
