In recent years, Huali town in Kaiyang county, Guiyang, has been working to plant tea trees in line with its local conditions, with a particular focus on establishing tea tree planting bases under the government's guidance and policy support, striving to increase local people's income and achieve rural vitalization.

The town has expanded the scope of tea tree cultivation, distributing a total of one million tea seedlings, with an expected yield of 22.5-27.5 kilograms per mu (about 0.07 hectares). This effort can help more than 3,000 people increase their income by 12,000 yuan ($1,656.47).

"What we are planting now is not only tea seedlings, but also the 'hope' for people to increase their income. With the government's support, we encourage people to plant the seedlings, change their mindsets regarding development, and promote rural industrial transformation," said Li Chunhua, secretary of the general Party branch of Huali village.

Moving forwards, Huali town will build a production line that integrates tea production, processing, and packaging, and transform its tea industry into a "new engine" that drives people to continuously increase their incomes.
