CATL delegation visits Kaiyang

On Oct 27, battery supply chain manufacturers from CATL visited Kaiyang county to inspect their development of the new energy materials industry.

CATL is a globally leading research and manufacturing company in the field of lithium-ion batteries.

The delegation visited Guizhou Anda Energy Technology Co and the CNGR lithium iron phosphate integration industrial park, where they gained a deeper understanding of the companies' production and operational status, future plans, and the progress of industrial projects in Kaiyang through presentations, exhibition boards, and by touring the production facilities.

The delegation praised the infrastructure development in Kaiyang Industrial Park and the development of local industrial enterprises, and hoped to maintain in-depth exchanges and cooperation with the county due to its unique advantages and promising prospects in the development of new energy materials.

Anda Technology has a lithium iron phosphate production capacity of 150,000 metric tons per year. The company's annual operating income increased from 300 million yuan ($41.01 million) before 2010 to 6.5 billion yuan in 2022, achieving a total tax revenue of 237 million yuan last year.

CNGR is the world's largest comprehensive service provider for lithium battery cathode precursor materials. In 2021, CNGR Advanced Materials Co began to build a 1-million-ton-level integrated phosphorus materials production base and research institute in Kaiyang, with a total investment of 10 billion yuan, to be developed in stages.
