1st Kaiyang Traditional Chinese Medicine Vocational Competition kicks off

To further enhance the skills and competency of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, nurses, and pharmacists in Kaiyang county, the 1st Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Vocational Competition was held in the county on Sept 16.

More than 100 healthcare staff from various medical institutions in the county, including private hospitals, participated.

The competition was organized by the county's health commission, the general labor union, and the human resources and social security bureau. It included three competition categories: the Physician Group, the Nurse Group, and the TCM Dispensing Group. Prizes were awarded to individual participants as well as teams.

The competition showcased the spirit of the TCM workforce throughout the county, promoting learning, practice, and application.

This competition has laid a solid foundation for cultivating more high-quality talent in TCM and promoting innovation and development in the field, contributing significantly to the preservation and growth of TCM.
