Kaiyang completes project to renovate old residential community

A total of 1,404 households in three old communities in Kaiyang county passed their acceptance appraisals on May 26.

This means 3,646 old communities in Kaiyang have now been fully renovated.

In 2022, Kaiyang formulated a plan to renovate 3,646 households in its eight old communities.

The three newly accepted old residential communities of Matouzhai, Nanjiang Garden, and Linquanju have now been mostly renovated with improved infrastructure, such as water supplies and drainage, power current lines, and roads.

The renovation work has resolved a number of problems such as easily blocked sewage, high levels of accumulated rainwater, and a lack of green space.
