Hefeng township rides green development wave

The Hefeng Bouyei and Miao township in Kaiyang county – located in Southwest China's Guizhou province – is embarking on a green development path that is leading to the rapid integrated development of the agriculture and tourism industries.

Hefeng township is 60 kilometers away from Guizhou province's capital city Guiyang and 28 km away from the urban area of Kaiyang county.

In recent years, Hefeng township has established several classic scenic areas based on its ethnic group culture, refreshing and healthy environment and charming scenery.

Tourists can avail themselves of a wide variety of entertaining activities and diversions there – including experiencing ethnic customs, getting involved in tea picking and making, as well as countryside camping.

As of May, Hefeng had received 400,000 tourist visits and generated tourism revenue of 140 million yuan.
