Kaiyang residential communities under smooth renovation progress

The renovation and upgrading projects in Kaiyang county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province are progressing smoothly.

Information from the county shows that Kaiyang plans to renovate eight old residential communities this year, with a focus on Yunkai commercial and residential buildings, the Kaiyang building materials market, Linquan Residence, Jiaochangba, Jinqiu Garden, Nanjiang Garden, Matou village, and the Linkuang residential community.

The renovations include roof waterproofing, reducing the risk of falling off walls, construction of the weak electricity into the ground pipe network, road reconstruction, greening projects, rain and sewage diversion pipe network construction and water supply construction.

Total investment in the projects will reach 24.99 million yuan, and they are expected to help 3,646 households.

Currently, renovations on all eight residential communities included in the project have started and are scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.
