All Kaiyang enterprises resume operations

All enterprises above designated size in the jurisdiction of Kaiyang county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, have now resumed operations after closing for the Spring Festival holiday, according to information from the Kaiyang media center.

Guizhou Saibang Technology Development Co is one such enterprise.

The main structure of the company's hydrogen peroxide workshop is nearly complete, and workers are busy dismantling the steel frame to prepare for subsequent equipment installation and other work.

According to project manager Lyu Feilong, work on the workshop officially resumed on Feb 8, and there are 30 to 50 people working at the construction site every day.

When equipment installation and debugging are completed, which is scheduled to happen at the end of May, the workshop is expected to begin production.

The agreement to build the workshop was signed in May 2020 with an investment of 220 million yuan. It is a hydrogen peroxide workshop that should have an annual output of 100,000 metric tons.

The hydrogen peroxide produced there is an environmentally friendly green chemical product widely used in papermaking, textile printing and dyeing, the chemical industry, environmental protection, electronics, medicine and other industries.

The workshop is expected to provide strong support for local economic and social development.

It is expected to provide raw materials for the production of lithium iron phosphate for large enterprises such as Anda Technology, Kailin Group and Shengwei Kaiyang Chemical in Kaiyang county.

According to current market prices, the workshop should be able to generate income of 150 to 180 million yuan and pay 20 million to 50 million yuan in taxes per year, Lyu said.
