Chuandong village makes national countryside governance demonstration list

Chuandong village in Kaiyang county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently made onto the list of the second batch of national countryside governance demonstration villages and townships.

The list was announced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and includes 100 townships and 994 villages.

Demonstration villages and townships are a national model of rural governance, and have achieved strong results in the development of the rule of law, a safe living environment and a high-quality civilization.

In recent years, Chuandong village has become a pilot village for the development of the village-level collective economy in Kaiyang county through measures such as developing leading industries, improving the living environment, and cultivating rural culture.

It is one of 100 "beautiful villages" built by the city of Guiyang.
