CPC Kaiyang County Congress concludes

The 13th CPC Kaiyang County Congress concluded in Kaiyang county -- in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- on Oct 23.

Some 226 Party representatives were scheduled to be present at the congress, but only 220 representatives were present, enough however to satisfy the quorum requirement.

The congress elected 45 members and 10 alternate members to the 13th CPC Kaiyang County Congress, as well as 25 members to the 13th disciplinary inspection committee of the CPC's Kaiyang County Committee.

The congress passed the "Resolutions on the Report of the 12th CPC Kaiyang County Congress", as well as the "Resolutions on the Work Report of the 12th Disciplinary Inspection Committee of the CPC Kaiyang County Committee."

Meanwhile, the congress summarized the major achievements and experience of the past five years, analyzed outstanding problems in the county's development and established the goals and main tasks for the next five years.
