Kaiyang awards outstanding Party members, organizations

Kaiyang county in Guiyang -- capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- held a commendation conference on July 3 to praise outstanding Party members, Party affairs workers and advanced grassroots Party organizations at the county, municipal and provincial levels.

The conference was attended by county officials and among them were Wang Qiyun, Party secretary of Kaiyang county; Sun Xin, Kaiyang county head; Li Biyong, chairman of the standing committee of the Kaiyang county people's congress; Liu Wenzhu, chairman of the CPPCC Kaiyang committee and Yang Xionggang, deputy Party secretary of Kaiyang county.

Wang delivered a keynote speech, stressing that under the leadership of the Party, Kaiyang should implement the "Strong Provincial Capital" Five-year Action Plan and strive to accelerate the high-quality economic and social development of the county.
