Three Kaiyang companies recognized as high-tech firms

Three companies in Kaiyang county passed recognition as high-tech enterprises in 2020, according to local media reports, bringing the total number of high-tech enterprises in the county to 10.

The county is located in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province. The three companies are Guizhou Kailin Group Mineral Fertilizer Co Ltd, Guizhou Kailin Co Ltd and Guizhou Dibao Biotechnology Co Ltd.

Over the past few years, Kaiyang county has made efforts to ensure that its key enterprises are high-tech and take technological innovation as their core mission.

The county has also offered services for companies to enhance their independent innovation capabilities.

High-tech enterprises that have passed recognition will enjoy a 15 percent income tax reduction and a reward of 300,000 yuan ($46,470) from Guizhou province. Guiyang city will also grant a subsidy of up to 100,000 yuan to those recognized as national high-tech enterprises for the first time and 200,000 yuan to those that have been recognized multiple times.
