Huaxi sees boom in digital development

Huaxi Touchworks Optoelectronics Industrial Base is the third factory invested and constructed by Guizhou Touchworks Optoelectronics Co in Guiyang. The person in charge of the base stated that, unlike the company's other factories, the Huaxi base is at the forefront in terms of product variety, technological upgrades, and equipment renewal.

After setting up operations, not only did the base allow Touchworks to further expand its production scale and strengthen its industrial chain, but it also led to a breakthrough in the development of the electronic information manufacturing industry in Huaxi district.

In addition, traditional industries in the district have also sped up upgrading by promoting technological innovation.

As a leading enterprise in Guizhou's drinking water industry, Guizhou Polar Bear Industrial Co has in recent years embarked on a path toward digital transformation, breaking through the limitations and bottlenecks of traditional production methods. The intelligent production line at the Polar Bear Huaxi Water Plant is one of the results of its digital transformation efforts.

Tan Yongsong, the deputy general manager of production at the Polar Bear Huaxi Water Plant, explained that the water plant is moving toward intelligent manufacturing. Leveraging big data in the field of equipment applications, the plant has established an equipment operation and maintenance "housekeeper", allowing for the digital documentation of assets, intelligent inspection, spot checks, maintenance management, online reporting of repairs, online response to maintenance, and predictive diagnostic capabilities for equipment failures.

This has the potential to significantly improve the timeliness of equipment maintenance, reduce equipment failure rates, and enhance the overall efficiency of equipment utilization.

Polar Bear Co has established a partnership with CASIC Cloud-Tech Co (Guizhou). Building upon their existing automation foundation, they have successively initiated digital transformation efforts in various areas such as production and equipment, driving the continuous optimization of business processes.
