Huaxi reports 7.1% GDP growth in first nine months

In the first three quarters, Huaxi district witnessed year-on-year GDP growth of 7.1 percent, with the amount totaling 59.08 billion yuan ($8.07 billion).

Specifically, the added valued of its primary industry was 1.59 billion yuan, up 3.8 percent, while that of its secondary industry stood at 32.11 billion yuan, surging 8.1 percent from last year. The added value of the district's tertiary industry increased 5.8 percent to 25.39 billion yuan.

The added value of the three industries accounted for 2.7 percent, 54.3 percent, and 43.0 percent of the district's GDP, respectively.
