The production lines of the Guizhou Touchworvs Optoelectronics Industrial Base have been in full operation at the Huaxi Yanlou Innovation Industry Incubator in Huaxi district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The industrial base was the first project in the Yanlou Innovation Industry Incubator.
According to Pan Xinli, director of the industrial base, Guizhou Touchworvs Optoelectronics Co has further promoted the extension and intelligent upgrading of the electronic information manufacturing industrial chain in Huaxi district.
The company set up operations in Guiyang in 2012 and its industrial base in the Yanlou Innovation Industry Incubator with an investment of about 120 million yuan ($17.47 million) began production this year.
Over the past decade, the company has experienced the transformation and development of fertile land for investment and development. From an electronic information manufacturing enterprise with an annual output value of 30 million yuan, it has grown into one with 10 production lines and an annual output value of over 600 million yuan.
The company's products involve wearable devices, smart home appliances, finance, medicine, education, industrial control, and security, with 30 percent sold to South Korea, Germany, the United States, and France.
When the Guizhou Touchworvs Optoelectronics Industrial Base reaches its full production capacity, it is expected to be able to achieve an average output value of 20 million yuan per mu (666.67 square meters), a tax revenue of 1.5 million yuan per mu, and an industrial added value of 5.37 million yuan per mu, employing more than 600 people.
So far, the Huaxi Yanlou Innovation Industry Incubator has introduced five projects concerning upstream and downstream supporting industries of electronic information manufacturing, bringing new vitality to the district's electronic information manufacturing sector.
Huaxi district's commerce and investment promotion bureau will offer enterprises full-life-cycle services to ensure the rapid construction, production and development of introduced projects.
