Huaxi cooperates with Guizhou Medical University

The government of Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, signed a strategic partnership cooperation agreement with Guizhou Medical University on Jan 17.

According to the agreement, Huaxi district and Guizhou Medical University will cooperate in urban and rural medicine, industrial upgrading and technical improvement, agricultural development, and the integrated development of sports and tourism, so as to promote the cultivation of senior medics, technological innovation, and the development of modern pharmaceutical and health service industries in the district. 

In addition, the district will build the Guizhou University Innovation and Technology Industry Base, which will focus on tech innovation and entrepreneurship incubation for key industries, take advantage of provincial and municipal-level funds to encourage enterprises to increase investment in technological research and development, and carry out talent recruitment in Guiyang and the nearby Guian New Area.
