Huaxi to open 115 school sports venues to public for free

The sports venues of 19 elementary and middle schools in Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, opened to nearby residents for free starting Nov 15.

The district plans to successively open the sports venues of 115 local eligible elementary and middle schools by Dec 31 to meet nearby residents' fitness demands and enhance their quality of life.

School sports venues will open to the public without affecting the operations of schools. They will be open during winter and summer vacations, weekends, statutory holidays, and non-teaching hours from Monday to Friday.
