A digital agricultural industrial park in Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently finished topping the main structures of its factories.

With a total investment of 374 million yuan ($58.55 million), the project on the south side of Longyan Road in Longjing village is a key investment promotion project in the district during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25). It covers a planned area of about 11 hectares.

The main structure of the project constructed by China Construction Science & Technology Group Co adopts a prefabricated integrated frame structure with the prefabricated assembly rate exceeding 65 percent, making it a model project for eco-friendly construction in Guizhou province.

The project includes edible fungus production workshops, edible fungi management buildings, warehouses, and cold storage building facilities.

It will mainly be used for edible fungus production and planting, and fungus stick production and processing, with a designed daily production capacity of 38 metric tons of Hyjpsizygus marmoreus (Peck) H.E. Bigelow, which has significant economic and social benefits.

It is expected to start production in the first half of 2022 after decoration and equipment installation are finished.
