Huaxi District Maternal and Child Health Hospital

Established in September 2003, Huaxi District Maternal and Child Health Hospital covers an area of 1.7 mu (0.11 hectares), with a construction area of 2,400 square meters.

It contains a family planning department, maternal and child health department, pediatrics, a functional examination department and a range of offices.

The hospital monitors the health status and health influencing factors of women and children in the district, and assists the health administrative department in the formulation of relevant policies, technical specifications and various rules and regulations for maternal and child health work.

It focuses on strengthening mental health consultations, nutritional guidance, family planning services, treating reproductive tract infections and sexually transmitted diseases, and the prevention and treatment of other common diseases in women.

In addition, the hospital carries out child health care services, including prenatal, neonatal, early childhood, preschool, and school-age health care, with a focus on children's health services such as early childhood comprehensive development, nutrition and feeding guidance, growth and development monitoring and psychological and behavioral counseling.
