The 2026 China Brewers Cup concluded in Guiyang on July 19. After three days of intense competition, six of the 40 top brewers from across the country advanced to the final round.

The final round crackled with tension and excitement as the six finalists took the stage one by one for the open-choice brewing competition. Each competitor selected their own coffee beans and introduced the origin stories, roasting parameters, and customized brewing plans behind their choices. Through flavor expression, technical presentation, and conceptual delivery, they showcased both their professional expertise and personal style.

A panel of professional judges evaluated each performance across multiple dimensions – flavor, service presentation, and overall performance – assessing the competitors' overall abilities in bean selection, processing, roasting, and brewing expression.

In the end, Zhong Jingjing from Hangzhou claimed the championship with a steady and outstanding performance. She also earned the sole qualification to represent China at the 2026 World Brewers Cup, where she will compete against champions from around the world and showcase the quality and elegance of China's specialty coffee on the global stage.

Hosting the China Brewers Cup in Guiyang reflects the industry's strong recognition of the city's growing coffee sector and consumer potential. It also further enriches Guiyang's city brand – "Cool Guiyang, Aroma of Coffee".

The event served as a bridge, connecting coffee industry resources across the country, facilitating technical exchanges and brand partnerships, and helping Guiyang's specialty coffee reach broader markets.
