Guangzhou Daily: Guangzhou Daily Science, Technology and Culture center settles in Huangpu

Plot LG-YZ-05 of Huangpu district, located in Guangzhou Second CBD, was sold to the consortium of a subsidiary of Guangzhou Daily Newspaper Group and a subsidiary of Guangzhou Development Zone Financial Holding Group Co on April 15.

In the future, the plot will be home to the Guangzhou Daily Science, Technology and Culture Center and is expected to dominate science, technology and cultural industry in Guangzhou and even Guangdong province.

According to the person in charge of the project, it will focus on the construction of Guangzhou Daily's Regional Media Convergence Center to make public opinion analysis and provide news hot spots, publicity effects, operational analysis, and other data services.

"This is a strong alliance between the media flagship and the State-owned 'aircraft carrier'," said Yan Yibin, chairman of the board of the Guangzhou Development District Financial Holding Group Co. The two sides will establish strategic cooperation in the cultural sector, cultural finance, professional science and technology park, investment business and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area development strategy.
