The promotion of cultural tourism resources for Guilin to build a world-class tourism city, part of the 11th Guilin International Scenery Cultural & Tourism Festival, was held in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on Oct 15.

Guests including representatives from media, enterprises and tourists from all over China attended the event.

The charms of Guilin in areas spanning natural scenery, ethnic culture, folk customs and cultural history were showcased at the promotion through videos and singing and dance performances.

The promotion conducted a review of Guilin's tourism resources and launched several innovative tourism routes to meet the diversified needs of tourists.
