GSF volunteers honored at summary conference
On Dec 12, the 2025 Greater Bay Area Science Forum Volunteer Service Summary Conference was held at Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University. The meeting reviewed the volunteers' service journey, recognized outstanding contributors, and looked ahead to the future.

A video presentation showcased the entire process, from training to service delivery. In his speech, a university leader from Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University praised the volunteers for their strong sense of responsibility and professional service, which made them a highlight of the forum. He mentioned that they represented the dedication of the new generation and injected youthful vitality into scientific exchange in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
During the conference, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University, Guangzhou Technician College, and the Guangzhou Nansha Volunteer Association received the Outstanding Volunteer Service Units award. Additionally, 15 individuals, including Chen Xiaoxin, Huang Yunxin, and Luo Zhixin, were recognized as outstanding volunteers.
These units worked effectively together to provide strong support for the forum: HKUST(GZ) organized a team of professional translation volunteers; Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University mobilized over 90 students as the main force; Guangzhou Technician College offered full support; and the Nansha Volunteer Association laid a strong foundation for service operations.
The volunteers' efforts were essential for the smooth operation of the forum and also showcased the humanistic spirit, teamwork, and warmth of Greater Bay Area's urban life.
