Intelligent Systems, Industrial Innovation Applications Sub-Forum held in Nansha

The Sub-Forum on Intelligent Systems and Industrial Innovation Applications of the Greater Bay Area Science Forum was held at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Guangzhou Research Institute on Dec 9.

Wu Hanrong, deputy director of the Guangzhou municipal science and technology bureau, emphasized in his opening address that Guangzhou is actively advancing the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Science and Technology Innovation Center and deepening international scientific collaboration. Ge Shuzhi, academician at the Singapore Academy of Engineering and dean of the NUS Guangzhou Research Institute, stated that the institute is committed to promoting international cooperation and translating achievements in the field of intelligent systems.

The forum featured keynote speeches by nine academic leaders from NUS, covering cutting-edge areas including robotics, intelligent transportation, medical AI, and spintronics. They shared forward-looking insights and highlighted practical outcomes ranging from fundamental research to industrial applications.

Two high-level industry dialogues were also held, focusing on "Intelligent Systems Driving the New Ecosystem of Future Industries" and "Smart Healthcare in the Era of Artificial Intelligence". Experts engaged in in-depth discussions on technology implementation, policy coordination, and clinical translation, offering insights to help build an intelligent innovation ecosystem in the Greater Bay Area.
