Top research institutions, technology transfer agencies, and industry associations from major economic zones — including the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Economic Circle, Yangtze River Delta, and Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle — gathered in Nansha to facilitate the matching of cross-regional technology demands, resource sharing, and professional services.

The conference explored new paths and mechanisms for technology commercialization and the construction of an innovative ecosystem.

Xie Ming, director of the Guangzhou municipal science and technology bureau, highlighted Guangzhou's commitment to advancing technology transfer, noting the launch of the nation's first physical market-oriented technology transfer partner platform, the GBA Innovation Technology Managers Office.

He said that the city is expected to unveil measures to strengthen the workforce of professional technology managers.

Xie Wei, deputy director of the management committee of the Nansha Economic and Technological Development Zone, emphasized Nansha's role as a strategic hub in the Greater Bay Area and its goal to become a global center for scientific innovation and technology transfer.

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Technology Managers Association was launched at the conference, aiming to strengthen policy coordination and build bridges for technology, capital, market, and talent integration.

The event also featured the unveiling of the "2025 Key Technology Demand List", targeting high-end manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and aerospace technology and providing clear guidance for matching global innovation resources with regional industrial demands.
