GSF boosts ties with Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute

The Secretariat of the Greater Bay Area Science Forum visited the Institute of Process Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing on Jan 11, engaging in deep discussions about future collaborations. 

Yang Chao, the institute's deputy director, and Xie Yuan, an expert consultant of the Greater Bay Area Science Forum, attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Xie briefed the institute on the progress of the 2021 to 2023 editions of the Greater Bay Area Science Forum and the construction of its permanent venue, expressing the forum's intention to deepen cooperation with the institute further.

Yang noted that as one of the 2023 Greater Bay Area Science Forum Carbon Neutrality Sub-forum hosts, the event achieved significant results and garnered widespread social attention. The institute looks forward to continuing its close cooperation with the forum, leveraging its research and industrialization strengths in the dual carbon field to support the forum's future endeavors and actively participate in various activities to promote the achievement of dual carbon goals jointly.

This exchange has strengthened the relationship between the two parties. In the future, the Secretariat of the Greater Bay Area Science Forum and the institute will collaborate more closely in planning academic activities and preparing for the 2024 Greater Bay Area Science Forum, aiming to enhance the high-quality development of the forum.
