Rao Zihe

Rao Zihe is a molecular biophysicist and structural biologist, an academician of CAS, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the World Academy of Sciences, a professor of the School of Medicine at Tsinghua University, a distinguished professor of Shanghai University of Science and Technology, a researcher and doctoral supervisor of the Institute of Biophysics, CAS, and the leader of the Innovation Research Group of the National Key Laboratory of Biomacromolecules.

Rao is mainly engaged in research on the three-dimensional structure of proteins and viruses related to human infection or having important physiological functions, as well as the development of innovative medicine therapy.
