Greater Bay Area Science Forum promotion in Zhongshan

The Secretariat of the Greater Bay Area Science Forum carried out an "Into Zhongshan" activity in Zhongshan, Guangdong province, on September 6. The members of the Secretariat surveyed the Zhongshan Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the Zhongshan industrial technology research institute and the Zhongshan Institute for Drug Discovery (ZIDD) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. 

Chen Yang, deputy director of the Zhongshan industrial technology research institute, introduced the technical transformation results obtained by cooperation between Zhongshan city and various universities. The two sides discussed an industrial report release and cooperation on technical projects. 

Lin Hanbin, director of the ZIDD, introduced the organization's development history and research achievements. The members of the Secretariat had discussion with Ding Kan, executive vice-president of ZIDD, on holding the forum's events, funding cooperation and the release of innovation achievements. 

This event is a special activity of the Greater Bay Area Science Forum and will be held in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Jiangmen as well. The Secretariat will promote science and cooperation and communication on scientific and technological innovation and development in city clusters of the Greater Bay Area.
