During the Chinese New Year holiday, the hanfu-making activity of Dunhuang Museum in Gansu province attracted a number of children, their families and educational tour groups.
The children attended a lecture in advance, which featured the technogenic accord and cultural connotations of colorful Chinese costumes known as hanfu.
During the activity, Dunhuang Museum prepared a wealth of materials for the students, including exquisite fabrics, colored threads and buttons.
Under the guidance of the instructor, the children carefully cut and sewed the materials. After nearly an hour and a half of hard work, exquisite Hanfu was born in the hands of the children.
In recent years, Dunhuang Museum has grown in popularity, becoming a destination for weekend getaways and study tours. The activities held there are expected to enrich children's after-school life, and provide them with a platform to better understand traditional Chinese culture.
