Dunhuang- Seoul air tourist route launched to boost tourism
Dunhuang in Northwest China's Gansu province launched a new charter flight to Seoul, South Korea, in collaboration with China Southern Airlines, further strengthening economic ties and tourism between the two countries.

Implemented on Jan 12, with an inaugural flight from Seoul to Dunhuang, this new route provides the passengers with direct access to a host of magnificent scenic spots, including the Mogao Grottoes, Jiayuguan Pass and the Danxia landform in Zhangye Qicai Danxia scenic area.
A 58-year-old tourist from Seoul pressed her hands together in front of her chest upon arriving at Dunhuang Mogao International Airport. She said that as a Buddhist, she had been looking forward to this trip for a long time and had done a lot of research beforehand.

This new route comes as the city reinforces its commitment to enhancing its travel and aviation sectors. In 2024, Dunhuang Mogao International Airport will successively open tourist routes to Hong Kong, China, and Nha Trang, Vietnam, to enlarge its circle of friends.
